Ozzy wrote this song with his guitarist, Zakk Wylde, and drummer, Randy Castillo. He credits his wife/manager Sharon with keeping him alive. Ozzy had just gone sober after over 20 years of drug and alcohol abuse. Zakk’s solo shines on this song, with even a hint of Randy Rhoads.Title: Road to Nowhere Tuning: Eb Ab Db Gb Bb Eb I AM LEGEND: HHAMMER PPULL-OFF \SLIDE DOWN ^VIBRATO tr^TRILL BBEND(assume full bend if not noted). This song is a reflection on Ozzy's life when he looks back on the 'wreckage of his past,' he sees the 'road to nowhere' leads to him. Maybe because of the keyboard tone throughout the song, it reminds me of a song that could’ve been on Bark At The Moon. Nothing Feels Right – Another track with Zakk on guitars. I think there could’ve been a more crescendo ending. This song has its ups and downs, sorta the most “epic” track on the album. Oh, it has TWO solos, lots of shredding on this one. Darkness – I like this song much better than the other one with Zakk on guitars. The closest thing to a ballad on the record so far. Maybe it’s the Randy Rhoads like style of playing, I don’t know. For some reason it reminds me of something from Blizzard or Diary. Quality, classic sounding song.Ī Thousand Shades – A little slower song featuring Jeff Beck. The guitar great Eric Clapton brings his classic style to this song in a somewhat Cream type of vibe. OZZY OSBOURNE - 'Road to Nowhere' (Official Video). “One of those days that I don’t believe in Jesus”, he sings throughout the hook. Eb Ab Cm Bb C B Db Gb Chords for OZZY OSBOURNE - 'Mama, I'm Coming Home' (Official Video) with. One Of Those Days – This is the song Ozzy said might cause some controversy. Maybe that’s because he’s got help from Black Sabbath legend, Tony Iommi. Zakk does what he does best during the solo, rip! Maybe my least favorite track on the album. It sounds crazy, but I think it has to do with the key of the chorus. Parasite – This song doesn’t do much for me. The lyrics also fit nicely with the Madman himself. The power chords around the hook got me right away! Great track to welcome people in. I was extra fired up for this album after hearing this song. Patient Number 9 – You’ve probably heard this one on WRIF. Short, catchy jam to set the tone for the record. I’m Immortal – Mike McCready – Ripper…loved it the first time I heard it. The following is a review according to the order on my vinyl…. With the amount of legendary guests, there’s some songs that can’t miss. It’s not as good as the new Megadeth, but there’s some highlights for sure. I’ve had it on the turntable all weekend. I grabbed a copy of the brand new album the day it came out, from the guys at Rock City Music Company in Livonia. I’ll admit, when it comes to Ozzy I’m a little bit of a slappy for the guy.
